Web Application Developer
TSD is looking for a Web Application Developer to join our growing team in North Andover, MA. In this position you will be part of the team responsible for designing, developing and maintaining TSD’s core web-based products. These Software as a Service (SaaS) applications for the vehicle rental and dealership industries require Developers experienced in n-tier development producing scalable, enterprise class products. The task set also includes consolidated, corporate portal services for our Corporate clients, allowing them to see a high level view of the success or challenges facing their individual operators.
Demonstrated Hands-on Experience With:
• VB.NET 2.0 – 4.0
• SQL Server
• Transact SQL, Javascript
• Visual Studio
• Experience with web services projects; reading, authoring and editing XML documents
• Experience working with 3rd party control libraries
• Unit Testing
Additional Skills and Competencies:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant study/experience
• Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision
• Experienced in problem solving, and able to follow a methodical implementation process
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities
• Ability to communicate with clients at all levels
• Work directly with business development teams during project envisioning (e.g. proposal generation, statements of work, RFP/RFQ creation and delivery) to design the best solution for the given requirements, with the ability to provide reasonably accurate estimates for projects
• Experience with C# and/or WCF a plus
