Accounting Assistant
TSD is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join the Business Office Team. This is a full time, permanent, benefit eligible position, Monday through Friday from 9 AM – 6 PM in North Andover, MA.
Responsibilities Include:
Accounts Receivable
• Prepare payments for deposit, allocating to correct accounts
• Process credit card payments, allocating to correct accounts
• Maintain accounts receivable aging
• Assist in statement preparation
• Customer record updates
Monthly Billing
• Prepare daily/monthly billing
• Send monthly invoices and statements
• Maintain Master Schedules
• Update rental customers and maintain databases
• Run monthly credit cards and update database
Collections
• Assist in collection of designated accounts
• Maintain procedures for collection of monthly billing and follow procedures for delinquent accounts
Special Projects / Other
• Assist in ERP system implementation
• Implementation projects
• Other special projects as assigned
• Shipping / Daily Reports
• Back-Up Receptionist
Experience Requirements and Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Accounting Office experience
• 1+ years QuickBooks and MS Office, with intermediate Excel skills
• Outstanding organizational, customer service and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent telephone etiquette and professionalism
